Welcome to Decor By Rebecca,

Born into a family of creative women in Tehran, Iran, she naturally gravitated toward art and design. She studied traditional Iranian and modern handmade needlework at the Museum of Art in Tehran, earned a diploma in couture fashion and technical work, and later studied photography at Azad University, where she participated in exhibitions and won awards for her work. Years of practice as a couture seamstress, creating custom pieces for women, naturally expanded into home furnishings. Moving to the U.S. in 2000, she raised her family while furthering her expertise in home decor, specializing in window treatment design. In 2009, she launched her business for hard and soft window treatments. She has worked with many high-quality brands,fabric suppliers, and manufacturers.

From 2018 to 2024, she served as the principal designer for Home Depot, Macy’s, JCPenney, and DecorView's division in Queens and Nassau County, training designers and in-store associates, while selling to  thousands of clients in her region. With years of hands-on experience working alongside top manufacturers, she has curated a selection of premium brands to offer high-quality, full-service residential and commercial window treatments. Decor By Rebecca also offers a variety of other interior decor services such as color consultations, personal shopping, reupholstery, and more.
